At Beechill Clinic, we offer private GP appointments, specialist consultations and comprehensive health programmes.
Choosing the right appointment helps ensure you receive the care you need and understand what to expect. This guide explains the differences between our services, including self-funded and insurance-funded appointments.
Understanding Your Appointment Options
At Beechill Clinic, we offer private GP appointments, specialist consultations and comprehensive health programmes. Choosing the right appointment helps ensure you receive the care you need and understand what to expect.
Private GP Appointments
01 /For everyday medical concerns, new symptoms and general health advice.
Our GPs assess and manage acute illnesses, ongoing symptoms, medication concerns and a wide range of general health problems.
We offer different appointment lengths depending on your needs. Longer GP appointments allow more time for complex concerns but are not equivalent to a comprehensive functional medicine assessment.
Rheumatology Consultations
02 /For joint pain, stiffness, swelling and suspected rheumatological conditions.
Our rheumatology consultations focus on assessing symptoms, identifying possible diagnoses and recommending appropriate investigations and treatment.
Complex conditions may require further investigations or follow-up before a definitive diagnosis or management plan can be established.
Self-Funded Rheumatology
Self-funding patients can access specialist assessment, treatment advice and ongoing rheumatology follow-up where clinically appropriate.
Appointments can be booked online.
Insurance-Funded Rheumatology
Insurance-funded appointments are primarily focused on specialist diagnostic assessment.
- Further investigations or reviews may require separate authorisation.
- Ongoing treatment and long-term follow-up are not covered under our current insurance arrangements.
Patients requiring ongoing care may choose to continue on a self-funding basis or arrange follow-up through their GP or NHS services.
Insurance appointments must be booked by telephone so our team can confirm your policy details and authorisation.
Functional Medicine Programme
03 /For those seeking a more comprehensive, personalised approach to longstanding or complex health concerns.
Led by Dr Aston, our 12-week Functional Medicine Programme provides dedicated time to explore your health in greater depth, including relevant medical history, nutrition, lifestyle, movement, sleep and other factors that may influence wellbeing.
The programme includes an extended assessment and ongoing reviews, allowing a more personalised approach than a standard GP or specialist appointment.
Other Specialist Appointments
04 /Beechill Clinic offers a growing range of specialist consultations.
Appointment lengths, fees, clinical interests and insurance arrangements may vary between clinicians. Please see the relevant service page for details.
